Direct Sales Agent Specialist (1601)

Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for driving new business sales, building rapport and trust with customers, and growing the business within the market/retail location. The role involves attracting new customers, cross‑selling existing customers across product lines, selling to walk‑in customers, marketing products outside the office through calls and in‑person visits, creating community relationships, and assisting customers in the office. Responsibilities Drive new business sales and grow the book of business. Build rapport and trust with customers. Cross‑sell existing customers across Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance products. Market products through calls and in‑person community visits. Assist customers in the office. Minimum Qualifications 0 – 2 years of experience. P&C licensing preferred, or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining. Preferred Skills and Competencies Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and retention. Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and multiple centers of influence. Initiates outbound calling to an established target customer base. Monitors key competitors and suggests initiatives to improve the company’s market position. Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes. Delivers optimal results within quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance metrics and complies with rules and procedures. Understands and stays current on underwriting guidelines, policy changes, and procedures. Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.
