Sales Tax Senior Manager - Consulting (SUT & SALT)

Job Summary We are seeking a Sales Tax Senior Consulting Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. The role will involve managing the sales tax compliance process for clients, preparing sales tax returns, and leading research projects. Key Responsibilities Manage the sales tax compliance process for clients, including sales tax returns and research projects. Oversee information and personnel related to sales tax compliance. Interact with clients and manage staff. Correspond with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues. Manage registrations and business licenses for clients. Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience with sales tax compliance. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent field. CPA, JD, CMI, PhD, or Enrolled Agent credentials. Preferred/Desired Qualifications CMI (sales tax) designation. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx.
