Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Heavy Equipment Service TechnicianLakeview Rock Products is hiring a Field Service Lube Technician to join our team. In this role you will operate a service/lube truck and travel to job sites to perform scheduled maintenance on a wide range of construction and mining equipment, including dozers, wheel loaders, excavators (track hoes), mobile generators, off-road forklifts, and more.You will change oil and filters, grease equipment, fuel machines, take fluid samples, perform basic inspections, and report needed repairs to our mechanics.Job Duties:• Drive and operate the service/lube truck safely and maintain accurate D.O.T. records• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, greasing)• Inspect equipment for needed repairs or additional maintenance and report findings• Communicate with foremen and superintendents to schedule service times• Complete service reports, inspection reports, and obtain fluid samples• Perform basic repairs on equipment and the service truck• Follow all company safety policies and procedures• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including on and under equipmentQualifications:Required• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)• Ability to lift 50+ lbs periodically• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors year-roundPreferred• Previous experience with preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment• Mechanically inclined individuals are strongly encouraged to apply - we are willing to train motivated candidatesWe are proud to offer you:Weekly payMedical / RX InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramAccident PlanCritical Illness Plan401(K)Flex 125 Cafeteria PlanIn-House Training OpportunitiesCompany StoreEducation, Training and Experience:Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.Special Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.The Hughes Companies; Hughes General Contractors, Inc., Lakeview Rock Products, Inc., and Preferred Paving, LLC. are equal opportunity employers and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
