Account Manager

Do you want to start or further your career in sales with a successful company? We are hiring an outside sales representative to cover our San Jose based sales territory. This territory includes Palo Alto, San Jose, Fremont and the surrounding areas.
- Primary responsibility is to promote the sale of our products within assigned territory in order to achieve sales goals.
- Although we have an extensive established customer base in this territory, both serving existing customers and finding new customers is an essential part of this position.
- Demonstrate products to end user customers in their laboratories and virtually.
- Distribute literature to customers and potential customers.
- Maintain and grow customer list in CRM.
- Live within 45 minutes of San Jose.
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in the life sciences, lab experience is a plus.
- One or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Interest / aptitude to sell products to life science researchers.
- Customer Service Attitude - desire to go the extra mile for the customer.
- Self-motivated - strong desire to succeed is essential.
- Valid driver's license required and good driving record.
- Expected total compensation of $75,000 - $90,000 includes salary and commission.
- Company car or auto expense reimbursement.
- Benefits package including health insurances, 401K, and education benefits.
