Job Title: Material Handler Location: San Diego, CA Employment Type: Temp (6 months) Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing Compensation: $27.50/hr. Schedule: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM - Compressed workweek schedule of three days on, four days off, then four days on, and three days off. In this role, you'll support cleaning, packaging, material handling, inventory management, and operational processes while helping maintain product quality, safety, and operational efficiency. What You'll Do: Perform material handling, cleaning, packaging, storage, inventory management, and system transactions following established procedures. Ensure materials, tools, and products are accurately tracked, stored, labeled, and prepared for production or shipment. Conduct quality checks related to cleanliness, packaging standards, inventory accuracy, and material condition. Support continuous improvement initiatives, operational projects, and process standardization efforts. Assist with onboarding and training activities while collaborating with team members to maintain safe and efficient operations. What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience working in a cleanroom, warehouse, logistics, inventory control, manufacturing support, or related operational environment. What Sets You Apart: Associate Degree. Vocational training, military experience, or material handling. Capable of obtaining necessary cleanroom certifications and operating specialized cleaning equipment. Able to work in a dynamic, hands-on operational environment while maintaining accuracy, composure, and attention to detail under pressure. Ability to learn, follow, and execute cleanroom handling, cleaning, packaging, inventory management, material transaction, and tool center processes in accordance with established work instructions and procedures. Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, quality, cleanliness, and 5S+1 expectation while working in cleanroom, warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing support environments. Must be able to read, interpret, and communicate operational data, information, and documents. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
