Material Handler 2

DatamanUSA is looking for a Material Handler 2 for our direct client based in CA. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills. Job Details: Job Title: Material Handler 2 Location: San Diego CA Duration: 6 months Responsibilities: *) Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving. *) Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. *) Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand. *) Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist. Basic Qualifications: *) Must be able to lift 50lbs to un-assisted. *) Must have a valid California Drivers license. *) Must be able sit, stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time. *) Must be able to operate a delivery vehicle. *) Previous warehousing experience. Preferred Qualifications: *) Previous SAP/MRP system experience. *) Forklift experience *) Shipping/Packaging to Mil Spec experience *) The ability to obtain and retain a security clearance.bfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
