Job Summary
The Advancement Associate is responsible for planning and implementing all special events (in person and virtual) related to capital campaign, fundraising, friend raising, and community events through communication strategies including but not limited to: social media such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blackbaud, e-newsletters, emails, and personal solicitations. The Advancement Associate for Events and Marketing is accountable for executing strategies that are focused on increasing financial support for unrestricted funds, student scholarships, academic programs, and building enhancements.

EVENT DUTIES
1. Plan, coordinate, and execute donor, prospect, alumni, and community engagement events, managing all event logistics and details for both in-person and virtual experiences. Responsibilities include venue coordination, vendor management, timelines, registration, event technology, guest experience, pre-planning event logistics and on-site event execution.
2. Lead the implementation and coordination of event-related fundraising events and donor engagement campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, 24-Hour Giving Challenges, employee giving campaigns, alumni campaigns, and event communications utilizing Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge, Mail Chimp and related platforms.
3. Work collaboratively in a team environment while independently developing and executing strategies to plan and implement events that strengthen donor relations, increase community engagement, and support the philanthropic goals of the Foundation.
4. Work collaboratively with the Director of Advancement to develop and monitor event budgets, prepare purchase orders, coordinate payments, and maintain accurate financial and event records in accordance with Foundation and College procedures.
5.Coordinates volunteer participation in support of events and serves as a key partner in supporting event committees for fundraising events and related activities.
MARKETING DUTIES
6. Creates and implements marketing collateral across multimedia platforms, representing approximately twenty percent (20%) of the position, and meets media deadlines for content distributed through social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
7. Coordinate with the Advancement Team and external vendors to support promotional and marketing efforts designed to increase event attendance, sponsorship participation, ticket sales, and donor engagement.
8. Creates and manages digital event and fundraising content, as well as print collateral, including the Inspire Magazine. Develops and maintains the Foundation's digital presence through online giving pages, peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, text-to-donate platforms, registration pages, and virtual event materials utilizing platforms such as Eventbrite, Raiser's Edge, and related technologies.
9. Implements, maintains, and analyzes donor communication strategies for events and fundraising initiatives, including Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge marketing communications, Giving Tuesday, Facebook campaigns, 24-Hour Giving Challenges, employee giving campaigns, and alumni annual campaigns.
10. Provides exceptional customer service and maintains professional, courteous, and responsive communication with donors, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, College personnel, and community stakeholders.
11. Works early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required to support events and Foundation activities.
12.Maintain reliable transportation and utilizes a personal vehicle, as required, for travel to meetings, events, and community engagement activities, including the transportation of event materials and supplies.
13.Performs other duties as assigned.
