Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create bespoke therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday living abilities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families effective therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track

Education Requirements

• Credential in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Encouragement for continual learning and post-graduate certifications

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
