Key Responsibilities Provide TF sustaining support for deployed fixtures to ensure minimal down time and customer impact. Coordinate and perform test fixture PM and calibration activities as scheduled, follow‑up on out‑of‑spec issues, lead maintenance programs, and track metrics and performance. Interface with test engineers and BU customers to coordinate the deployment of new test fixtures. Drive new test fixture designs, implement as necessary, document and track deployment issues to closure, and initiate engineering change requests. Drive applicable manufacturing engineering ePLC deliverables. Estimate test fixture manufacturing costs, determine scheduling requirements, and make recommendations for new fixture designs. Lead the team in applying DFx principles to reduce costs and improve delivered quality. Lead the development of SOWs for assigned test fixtures. Coordinate stakeholder efforts to ensure alignment on test specs and project requirements. Assist in sourcing activities as needed. Determine root cause and corrective action analysis for issues arising during design and deployment of test fixtures, provide failure analysis reports, and drive corrective actions if necessary. Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies. Develop and maintain new business processes, edit as necessary to keep practices documented, and mentor and train lower‑level engineers. Coordinate outsourcing activities with external test fixture suppliers. Perform Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis when working with New Product Development. Software development capabilities, control systems, interlocks, C#, C and HW–SW interfaces like serial, EtherCAT, DNET. Develop detailed drawings, documents, and knowledge of semi‑equipment. Cognizant of safety and able to design test equipment with safety first in mind. Expertise in robotics (particularly collaborative robots). Ability to read engineering drawings and perform test fixture design; develop engineering drawings and user manuals for automated test equipment. Factory automation, COBOT programming, and COBOT system design. 20% domestic and international travel required for install and upgrade test fixtures at supplier and other AMAT sites worldwide.
