Role Description The LMRT, PRN role at HCA Healthcare Physician Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, TX. The LMRT is responsible for performing basic radiologic procedures under appropriate supervision, including obtaining quality diagnostic images, following established protocols, and ensuring radiation safety for patients and team members. Daily tasks include preparing and positioning patients, maintaining and operating imaging equipment, and accurately documenting procedures in the electronic medical record. The LMRT collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and medical assistants to support efficient clinic workflow and timely patient care. The role also involves adhering to regulatory and facility standards, assisting with patient education, and contributing to a respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused environment. Qualifications Valid LMRT (Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist) license in the state of Texas and current compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrated proficiency in performing basic diagnostic radiologic procedures and operating imaging equipment safely and accurately. Strong patient care skills, including clear communication, respectful interaction, and the ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain accurate records, and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office setting. Knowledge of radiation safety principles, infection control practices, and clinic safety standards. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to support physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff. Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) skills; experience in outpatient or urgent care settings is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited LMRT or radiologic technology program preferred.
