Salary in accordance with the Unit A contract. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of nursing experience; pediatric, emergency room, or community health experience preferred. Experience managing pediatric chronic illnesses and behavioral/mental health concerns is a plus Provide first aid, emergency care, and triage for student and staff injuries or sudden illnesses. Administer daily prescription and emergency medications in accordance with district policy and state nursing regulations. Stabilize severely ill or injured individuals until emergency medical services or parents/guardians arrive. Assess students visiting the health office to determine if they should return to class or go home. Other duties assigned by supervisor.
