Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 09/28/2026 for 18 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week on a 3x12-hour night schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) at a short-term acute care facility. Weekly pay range: $2,588–$2,778 per week. Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations.
- Circulate for C-sections and support perinatal team in urgent events; manage fetal and maternal status during procedures.
- Assess fetal well-being, monitor amniotic fluid status, vaginal bleeding, and overall maternal condition; implement appropriate interventions.
- Manage labor analgesia and pain control; educate patients and families on perinatal care and postpartum recovery.
- Initiate and revise multidisciplinary care plans in collaboration with the health care team; document care clearly and timely.
- Work within the LDRP model and, when applicable, support ancillary staff while maintaining no on-call requirements.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California) required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent Labor & Delivery experience; LDRP model experience preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course; and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required.
- Additional: EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
