Staff Accountant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Reports To: Director of Finance/Accounting Job Type: Full-Time About Us Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is part of a growing multi-brand restaurant organization with multiple restaurant concepts and locations across several markets. Our corporate team supports the financial and operational needs of all brands within the organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Arlington, VA. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting and financial operations across our restaurant brands. This position will work closely with the Director of Finance/Accounting to maintain accurate financial records, complete reconciliations, prepare reports, and provide financial support to our restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records, journal entries, A/P, and A/R. Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial accounts. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor daily banking activity, deposits, cash balances, and credit card transactions. Review and manage corporate credit card activity and transaction reporting. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for restaurant operations. Support internal and external audits. Identify discrepancies and escalates financial concerns to leadership. Assist with improving accounting processes, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups. Experience with Workday, Paylocity, or similar systems is a plus. Multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
