This full-time, on-site opportunity is tailored for Special Education Teachers skilled in providing 1:1 support within a school environment. While the placement is based in North Carolina, travel professionals from nearby areas are encouraged to bring their expertise and dedication to this rewarding position.
Successful candidates will be deeply committed to individualized learning, collaborating closely with school staff and families to empower students with special needs. As an integral part of the educational team, you will deliver targeted academic and behavioral interventions designed to help each student thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview).
Demonstrated experience delivering personalized instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs.
Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings.
Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues, families, and support staff.
Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to specific student goals.
Provide direct 1:1 support, ensuring each student receives personalized instruction and progress monitoring.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and adapt materials.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress regularly.
Partner with families to support students’ holistic development and success.
