Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to an impactful, full-time contract role for the 2026-2027 school year near Myrtle Beach, SC. This opportunity is ideal for travel professionals seeking an on-site position in North Carolina, working 1:1 with students to support their unique learning goals.
Requirements to be considered:
Current, active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification
Prior experience or strong interest in 1:1 instructional settings
Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work on-site and accommodate the needs of a diverse student population
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs
Deliver innovative instruction and targeted interventions in both academic and behavioral domains
Monitor student progress closely and communicate effectively with parents and educational teams
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate a variety of learning styles
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
