Pharmacist - Ann Arbor, Michigan

This opportunity is for a pharmacist with specialized experience in home infusion and sterile compounding to support a healthcare facility in Ann Arbor, MI. The role is a contract position lasting approximately two months, with weekday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While a candidate has been selected, additional qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply for consideration.


Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and verification of sterile compounds performed by pharmacy technicians within a clean room environment. Ensuring compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards is essential. The pharmacist will also provide clinical consultations to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use in the home infusion setting.


Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license
• Proven home infusion experience, specifically with sterile compounding (home infusion preferred)
• Strong knowledge of USP 797 and 800 guidelines
• Experience working with Care Tend pharmacy computer system is advantageous but not required
• Ability to perform clinical patient consultations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
