Opportunity Overview

• Full-Time Equivalent: 1.0

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours (approximately 3 days), with flexibility in days and times.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of graduate-level experience in Behavioral Health is required.

• 5 years of experience in Behavioral Health is highly preferred.

• Board Certification as a PA-C is necessary.

  • Graduate-level experience for PAs (excluding clinical rotations)

• Must possess a valid State of Michigan License*

Key Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

• Conducting assessments and evaluations for levels of care, managing acute care transition clinics, and following up on outpatient visits.

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, subspecialists, behavioral health therapists, case managers, and nursing staff.

• Utilizing EPIC for streamlined documentation, care coordination, and monitoring quality metrics.

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Receiving support from centralized administrative and clinical resources for scheduling, billing, and referral management.

• Providing direct patient care and documenting interactions in the Epic EMR system.

• Engaging in community health initiatives through active participation and collaboration.
