About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a prominent K-12 software platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for making strategic decisions to enhance the business's growth and market presence, with a focus on capitalizing on regulatory trends and driving both organic and acquisition-based expansion. The role demands a hands-on, GTM-first operator with a strong background in running a multi-motion B2B EdTech SaaS organization, ideally with experience in a commercial-leaning leadership position within the K-12 B2B SaaS sector. The CEO will be tasked with leading the commercial transformation of the business, making critical capital-allocation decisions, and unlocking cross-sell opportunities within a loyal, high-retention customer base. The ideal CEO for this role at the company will have a background that includes a commercial orientation and experience in a lower middle market EdTech SaaS company, or as a divisional leader within a larger organization. While not mandatory, a background in private equity is highly preferred. The candidate should be adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be prepared to take on the challenge of leading the company through a period of active growth and investment, with an anticipated exit in the next 2-3 years. The role is pivotal in the company's strategy to expand its market footprint and requires a leader who can effectively manage the business's commercial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the company's continued success in the K-12 education technology space.
