Bearfoot BBQ is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, outgoing Brand Ambassador to represent us at farmers markets, grocery store demos and community events throughout the Greater Sacramento area. We make premium California BBQ sauces using real ingredients and bold, balanced flavors. As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll be one of the faces of Bearfoot BBQ in the community — introducing people to our sauces, sharing our story, creating a great customer experience and, most importantly, driving sales. This is an active, customer-facing role. If you enjoy meeting new people, creating conversations and challenging yourself to beat your last sales number, you’ll fit right in.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Represent Bearfoot BBQ at farmers markets, grocery demos and special events Proactively engage customers and invite them to sample our sauces Learn our brand story, ingredients and flavor profiles so you can confidently talk about our products Help customers discover their favorite flavors and convert samples into sales Set up and break down displays, signage and sampling stations Process payments at farmers markets and other direct-sales events Keep displays clean, organized, stocked and professional Track basic sales and inventory Capture occasional photos and short-form videos for Bearfoot BBQ social media, including product shots, customer interactions and event atmosphere Represent Bearfoot BBQ with energy, professionalism and personality

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Traditional sales experience is not required . Personality, reliability and initiative matter more to us. You should be: Friendly, outgoing and comfortable approaching people you don’t know Confident, conversational and able to connect naturally with customers Reliable, punctual and self-motivated Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of an event Energetic and comfortable being on your feet for several hours Comfortable handling food samples and following food-safety procedures Comfortable taking good-quality photos and short videos with a smartphone Able to lift and move approximately 40 lbs. Available primarily on weekends Motivated by performance and excited by the opportunity to earn more when you sell more Experience in sales, grocery, retail, hospitality, food service, events or social media is a plus, but not required.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, event-based position , primarily Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday grocery demos and special events. Typical farmers market shifts are approximately 5–6 hours , including setup, market hours and breakdown. Grocery demos and special-event hours will vary. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on additional hours and responsibilities as Bearfoot BBQ grows, including supporting and eventually taking ownership of assigned retail accounts.

COMPENSATION

Guaranteed compensation of at least the applicable California state or local minimum wage for all hours worked, plus the opportunity to earn additional compensation through our tiered sales incentive program. Our compensation model is built to reward performance. As you reach higher predetermined sales and bottle-volume targets, your earning potential increases. Sell more. Earn more. There is no reason for your earnings to stop at the guaranteed minimum. Full compensation details and sales incentive tiers will be discussed during the interview process.

Bearfoot BBQ is a Northern California food company creating premium California BBQ sauces made with real ingredients and bold, fruit-and-chile-driven flavors. Our sauces are currently sold in more than 80 retail locations , and we’re continuing to expand throughout California.
