Job Summary
Page Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team on a full-time basis. We are a supportive, team-oriented skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and passionate about helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ functional abilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and adaptive techniques
Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in a timely manner
Monitor resident progress and promptly report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality resident care
Comply with all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current Florida COTA license in good standing
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred (new graduates welcome)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, reliable, and resident-centered approach to care
Schedule & Employment Type
