Working primarily in Bentley MicroStation, you'll create and maintain high-quality CAD drawings that serve as the foundation for project coordination and decision-making. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, which means your contributions will support projects that shape how people experience the spaces where they work and live.What your day-to-day will look like:Create and maintain accurate CAD files including as-builts, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and quantity takeoffs in Bentley MicroStationEnsure all drawings comply with established CAD standards and quality control proceduresManage drawing files and document workflows in ProjectWiseProduce redlines, markups, and drawing revisions based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project teamsSupport project teams by tracking drawing-related milestones and deliverablesAssist with RFI responses that require drawing clarifications or updatesConduct occasional site visits to verify existing conditions and gather field measurements for as-built documentationParticipate in construction site escorting when required, understanding basic safety protocols and completing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) briefingsIdentify opportunities to improve CAD standards, drafting efficiency, and space planning processesRequired qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or related technical field3-5 years CAD drafting experience demonstrating proficiency in commercial construction CAD production.Strong proficiency in Bentley MicroStation (primary requirement) and ProjectWise document management systemWorking knowledge of Bluebeam for markups and take-offsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents with strong attention to detailEffective communication and organizational skills for coordinating with engineers, architects, and contractorsBasic understanding of commercial construction principles and building systemsOSHA 30 Certification within 90 days of hireValid U.S. Driver's LicensePreferred qualifications:Experience supporting project teams in a coordination or assistant role with familiarity in construction project workflows (RFIs, submittals, closeout documentation)AutoCAD or Revit experience to complement MicroStation proficiencyUtility or infrastructure drafting experiencePrevious exposure to active construction environmentsKnowledge of ADA, building codes, space planning, and accessibility standards as they relate to technical drawingsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
