Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian (Hybrid – 75% Remote)

New York (Local Travel Required)

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services to nine group home programs in New York.

Position Details

• Hours: 5–8 hours per week
  

• Schedule: Flexible
  

• Work Type: Approximately 75% remote
  

• Compensation: $40.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
  

• Travel Time: Compensated at the same hourly rate
  

• Mileage Reimbursement: Provided
  

• Service Area: Nine group homes in New York
  

• Work Setting:
  

  • Short monthly onsite visits
    

  • Documentation, care planning, and administrative responsibilities may be completed remotely
    

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
  

• Monitor residents' nutritional status and provide follow-up recommendations as appropriate.
  

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, caregivers, and staff.
  

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident health and wellness.
  

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote optimal nutrition outcomes.
  

• Review menus and provide recommendations to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance.
  

• Conduct kitchen sanitation reviews and provide recommendations for improvement as needed.
  

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
  

• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  

• Perform additional duties as assigned and within the Registered Dietitian scope of practice.
  

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  

• Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
  

• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  

• Proficiency in clinical nutrition assessment and documentation.
  

• Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations is preferred.
