With offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, Corpus Christi and Columbus, as well as job sites around the country, ISC has grown our team as high 3,000+ associates and offers full-service engineering, construction, and maintenance solutions throughout the United States.We are looking for a Material Handler/Expeditor with the basic knowledge in electrical and instrument material types and descriptions, to complement our experienced workforce.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining proper communication and documentation between the project team and fieldResponsible for maintaining an organizing material storage container and laydown yards.Responsible for properly documenting and maintaining inventory logs and receiver paperwork associated with material delivered to the jobsite.Responsible for delivering material to various work areas as neededMust attend weekly safety meetingsAttend daily toolbox meetingsRequirements:Must have high knowledge of document word processing, especially with MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat for creation of new documents and conversions of prior document programs and formatting.Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.Strong mindset especially in the areas of being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and energy.Must be forklift certified.Must have a current driver's license, and MVR.Other Information:Excellent wages and complete benefits package.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.ISC evaluates and hires applicants for employment based exclusively upon the applicant's merit.
