Permit Specialist

Researching, preparing, submitting, and tracking various permits, the full-time Permit Specialist will manage the full lifecycle of permit acquisition and ensure timely project delivery while coordinating with agencies, utilities, and internal teams. Key responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of permit acquisition, including submittal, review, and receipt of required permits Research and gather necessary data for permit requests from authorizing agencies and utility providers Maintain and update internal and external databases with real-time status updates on permits and project documentation Required qualifications 2+ years of right-of-way permitting or equivalent experience 2+ years of cable engineering support experience Experience using GIS programs such as QIS and ArcGIS Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Working knowledge of cable design principles and construction practices related to cable systems
