The role provides factory‑trained instruction and the chance to earn certification while learning on the job. Job Purpose Test vehicle systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly. Follow a checklist to inspect each critical part, such as hoses, belts, fuel systems, tires, brakes, and other potential trouble areas. Use hand tools—including screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers—and, when needed, power tools such as pneumatic wrenches to remove bolts efficiently. Skills/Qualifications Good knowledge of automobiles and light duty trucks. Effective analytical and communication skills. Good reading, basic math skills, and computer literacy. Ability to learn new technology, service and repair procedures, and understand specifications. Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment is a plus. Job Requirements Must have at least a high‑school diploma or GED. Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
