Look for a Senior Azure Synapse Data Migration / ETL Consultant with extensive hands-on Synapse experience, strong data warehousing and integration skills, Azure Logic Apps/APIM and pipeline experience, and the independence to lead delivery in a fast-moving team.

Do not prioritize a D365 functional consultant, Dynamics administrator, general Azure architect, or Power Platform developer who lacks deep data warehousing and Synapse migration experience.

The single most important screening criterion is proven Azure Synapse migration experience, already visible on LinkedIn. D365 and Power Platform experience can help distinguish candidates, but they do not replace the core data skills.

Generic Job description

• Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role
• Data integration tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
• Understanding of M365 / D365 services and integration w/ Power Platform
• Experience with migrating and/or integrating with On-Prem services to cloud and Azure
• Understanding of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL)
• Familiarity with API management and cloud solutions
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

D365 is not necessarily required. But we do a good deal with the power platform. So any experience would be a plus only on D365.

Need a "leader" type (someone who shows up for meetings on time, no hand holding, 10/10 comm skills, proactive, must be available on short notice for meetings. Must follow thru and not be told what to do. This team moves FAST!!!! Needs to keep up!!!

Senior Data Warehousing / ETL and Integration Consultant with extensive, demonstrable Azure Synapse Analytics experience, particularly migrating data into Synapse. They need a hands-on, data-focused technical leader who can manage data migration, transformation, integration, and reporting preparation independently in a fast-paced environment.

Project description: We have been Migrating a ton of data so far (migrating data into the enterprise). Now comes report writing. Cleanse and organize data in this environment so they can generate reports. Manipulate the data.

Feedback: We are not looking for Architects or Administration. We need Senior Data Warehousing / ETL, integration Consultants with strong Synapse, prefer Synapse migrations.

A data-centric Senior Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant specializes in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, focusing on data integration and transformation processes. They typically have strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, particularly in migrating data to Synapse environments, ensuring efficient data management and analytics capabilities

We need someone for the senior level has extensive Synapse experience. If they did not list on Linekdin, do not send them. We can see when they have updated their LinkedIn profile as well. Don't cheat the system and just have them add it there before you send them to me. Senior is 12-30 years.
