The Universal Banker II (UB II) must have exceptional customer service, sales and relationship building skills while following the bank's sales process. The UB II is responsible for building and expanding relationships with current and future customers and working as part of the branch team to ensure individual and branch goals are met. Employees in this position are required to operate a cash drawer and will function as a teller as needed.

Essential functions include accurately processing transactions including deposits, night drop deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, official checks, money orders and credit card advances. Safeguarding the bank's assets by efficiently operating a cash drawer while following the bank's policies and procedures and adhering to the Bank Operations Manual. Utilizing the bank's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software program for documenting financial information to build and maintain the client's relationship and follow-up for future referral opportunities while following the bank's vision, core competencies, moments of truth and sales process. Assisting consumer and commercial customers with all account needs and other customer related matters including opening and closing accounts, forgery affidavits and stop payments orders while following the bank's policies and procedures. Participating in daily/weekly meetings with Bank Manager and assisting the Bank Manager with other duties as needed including opening and closing procedures and sales and operational goals.

This job operates in a professional retail branch. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, teller validators and scanners.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires manual dexterity including the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and lift coins or currency up to 40 pounds. This position requires maneuvering around the branch, bending, and stooping as necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to focus.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours vary according to the branch location. Infrequent travel is expected for training for this position, including overnight stays.

Required education and experience includes a high school graduate or GED. High energy with strong interpersonal oral and written communications skills. Working knowledge of computer software. Work in a team environment while following good judgement, tactfulness and time constraints while maintaining a professional manner.

Preferred education and experience includes post high school education or 2 years of related experience.
