Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a 7th Grade Math Teacher, working onsite with an engaged middle school student population. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, running from now through June 10, 2027, and will immerse you in a collaborative environment focused on student achievement and growth. Bring your instructional expertise to a vibrant classroom—design dynamic, tailored lessons aligned to state and district standards, and foster an atmosphere where student curiosity and learning can thrive.
What we’re seeking:
- Active certification or licensure suited to a math 7th grade caseload
- Proven experience in a school environment, ideally with middle school students
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement to qualify for an emergency teaching permit)
- Familiarity with the latest instructional standards and best practices in math education
- Strong classroom management and effective behavioral intervention skills
- Commitment to differentiation, formative assessment, and culturally responsive teaching
- Ability to provide a structured and supportive environment, particularly in urban settings
- Dependable transportation for daily onsite attendance
- Comfortable working within guidelines of the local district and community
- Capable of working the full schedule, 8:00 AM–3:15 PM, without accommodation
- Completion of all Pennsylvania required school clearances
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a diverse group of learners
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance student outcomes
- Support students socially and academically, setting them up for long-term success
