Job Description

The Registered Nurse will contribute to providing quality health care through patient-centered care on the Orthopedic and Med/Surg units. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, creating and implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and condition, especially post-operative orthopedic and trauma patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EHR.
• Work collaboratively within the nursing team and with other healthcare professionals.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Effective communication and assessment skills.
• Willingness to contribute to teamwork and patient-centered care.
