KAFKA ADMINISTRATOR

BOUNTY DESCRIPTION Industry: Financial Services - Investment Banking Job Category: Information Technology - Database Administration REQUIREMENTS 6-8+ years of well-versed experience as Kafka Administrator. Hands‑on experience in creating Kafka Topics, brokers and setting up Zookeeper instances. Know how to set up scheduler and real‑time data ingestion (from source to sink) using Kafka connectors (supporting CRUD operations). Well‑versed with streaming On‑Premises Data for Cloud Analytics using Confluent Kafka. Set up Confluent Schema Registry and optimize Kafka deployments (throughput, latency, durability & availability). Handle error and retry/replay of messages if upstream/downstream systems fail (error topic/queue concept). Deploy Kafka nodes as PODs or Docker containers on AKS/OpenShift managed Kubernetes platforms. Set up Kafka monitoring dashboard using tools like Grafana and Prometheus. QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK IN YOU Excellent written and verbal communication skills. BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus. SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS Kafka, Zookeeper.
