Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in schools or educational settings preferred
- Knowledge of psychological and educational assessment tools
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong ability to connect with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborative, solutions-focused, and adept at crisis intervention
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to interpret assessment data
- Develop individualized support plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct counseling, intervention, and consultative services for students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and academic success
- Contribute to behavior intervention planning and progress monitoring
- Support positive school environments through staff consultation and professional development
