This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, providing critical patient assessments, and ensuring optimal outcomes while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. Candidates must be available for on-call duties as needed and respond within one hour of call-in. Responsibilities\n \n Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health. \n Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed. \n Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary. \n Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatments, and follow-up care. \n Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on the severity of illness or injury. \n Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies. \n Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators. \n Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care. \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). \n Promote patient and staff safety by following infection control and safety protocols. \n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n Current RN license in the state of Ohio. \n Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. \n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency or critical care setting preferred. \n Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required. \n Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. \n Schedule\n 12-hour shifts from 12 PM to 12 AM, including every other weekend and holidays. This position does not guarantee 36 hours per week, as the facility reserves the right to cancel up to one (1) 12-hour shift per pay period.
