Lead Childcare Teacher

Magnolia Ridge Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachers to support the following age groups: Infants Preschool To be QUALIFIED for the Lead Infant Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma, CDA or higher is required, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Our Hiring Process for Lead Infant Teachers: Resumescreen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Infant Teachers: Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently. Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
