This is a Grant‑Funded position established under the State Opioid Response 3 (SOR3) grant locally entitled the District of Columbia Opioid Response (DCOR). The incumbent serves as primary contact for specific SOR3 initiatives and oversight of grant activities as assigned. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes for initiatives within predetermined timelines, budgets, and established quality standards. Coordinates data collection and evaluation activities used for program monitoring and decision making, monitors and manages contractual agreements between partnering agencies/entities, status of expenditures, budget changes, spending plans, and sub‑grant/recipient agreements. Conducts research on matters related to the grant and manages elevation of challenges to Project Director (SOR). This position IS in the collective bargaining unit represented by SEM and may require an agency service fee through automatic payroll deduction. Position Salary: $92,656 Grade 12/Step 1 Area of Consideration: Open to the Public Duration of Appointment: Term Appointment, Not-to-Exceed 13 Months Tour of Duty: 8:15 a.m.–4:45 p.m. Monday–Friday Qualifications Requirement Candidates must have completed a full four‑year course of study at an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree in an academic field related to health science or allied sciences pertinent to the position. Additionally, candidates must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Licensure None Education Bachelor's degree in health science or allied sciences. Work Experience Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes for initiatives within predetermined timelines and budgets, using established quality standards. Work Environment The work is performed primarily in an office setting. Attendance and participation in evening or weekend meetings may be required. Position Designation This position is deemed “Security Sensitive” pursuant to Section 410 of Chapter 4 of the D.C. Personnel Regulations. Residency Requirement A person applying for a position in the Career Service, Educational Service, Management Supervisory Service, a line attorney position in the Legal Service (series 905), or an attorney position in the Excepted Service (series 905) who is a bona fide District resident at the time of application may be awarded a 10‑point residency preference over non‑District applicants, unless the person declines the preference. If selected, the person shall be required to present proof of bona fide District residency and maintain such residency for seven consecutive years from the effective date of the appointment.
