Schedule

• Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, with a focus on providing high-quality treatment to patients across all age groups. This role requires excellent critical thinking skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care and stabilization for patients in the emergency department.
• Perform triage, assessments, and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in various procedures, including chest tube insertion and IV administration.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience required.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at submission.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
