Key Responsibilities Perform technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, intubation, nursing care, and more. Provide hands‑on patient care in ER and ICU settings. Collaborate with veterinarians and other teammates to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately. Maintain clean and organized treatment and hospital areas. Monitor patients and report changes in conditions to the medical team. Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and emergency procedures. Participate in maintaining hospital cleanliness and infection control standards. Qualifications Current RVT licensure through the state of Ohio. One year of clinical experience required (preference for ER or specialty experience). Strong technical skills and a desire to continue learning and growing. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while remaining detail oriented. Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted. Availability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays. Anticipated Schedule Overnight shift – exact schedule to be discussed during the interview process. Every other weekend required. Compensation Competitive compensation – $25-35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits 50% 401(k) matching, up to 6%.
