Role Description The Restoration Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, responsible for performing contents restoration services across residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include assessing damage to items such as electronics, artwork, documents, and textiles, executing restoration and mitigation procedures, and documenting all work following company standards. The role involves safely handling and cleaning affected contents, supporting water damage restoration efforts, and assisting with packing, transport, and return of items to clients. The technician will collaborate closely with team members, contractors, and insurance representatives, maintaining clear, professional communication and providing status updates throughout the restoration process. This position also requires adherence to safety protocols, proper use of tools and equipment, and occasional after-hours or emergency response work as needed. Qualifications Knowledge and hands-on experience with water damage and water damage restoration techniques. Understanding of mitigation practices, including containment, cleaning, and stabilization of affected contents. Awareness of invasive species or contamination risks and ability to follow safety-focused handling and remediation procedures. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, contractors, and insurance professionals. Attention to detail in assessment, documentation, and quality control of restored items. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working in various environments (e.g., damaged structures, tight spaces). Reliability and time management skills to meet project deadlines and support claims and restoration timelines. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in restoration, construction, or related fields is preferred but not required.
