Veterinary Client Service Representative - Specialty

Description Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists of Mansfield is hiring an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high‑quality client support and coordinating referrals for our specialty veterinary practices. You will work closely with primary care veterinarians, specialists, clients, and insurance providers to ensure timely and smooth referral processes. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for primary care veterinarians referring cases to specialists within the clinic. Coordinate appointments for referred patients with specialist veterinarians. Maintain clear and timely communication between primary care veterinarians, specialists, and clients. Ensure the secure and prompt transfer of medical records, including diagnostic images and laboratory results. Educate clients about the referral process, expected procedures, and follow‑up care. Assist clients with billing, insurance coordination, and pre‑authorizations when applicable. Follow up with referring veterinarians after specialist consultations to facilitate continuity of care. Monitor and evaluate the referral process to ensure it meets standards of care and client satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and specialty care providers. Provide general administrative support, including front‑desk duties, call management, and a professional environment for clients and visitors. Stay updated on veterinary medicine trends, procedures, and treatments relevant to the specialty clinic’s focus areas. Support the team’s overall goal of delivering timely, specialized care while fostering strong referral relationships. Qualifications & Skills Friendly and outgoing, with a love for both pets and people. Client service experience and at least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine preferred. Excellent communication skills; team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate and support each other. Outstanding multi‑tasking abilities. Ability to work rotating weekends and certain holidays. Demonstrated empathy and commitment to high‑quality care for patients. Trustworthy, positive communication with clients, team members, and veterinarians.
