Printer Optimization Assistant

Responsible for assisting in the physical relocation of printers within office facilities. Duties include safely unplugging printers, disconnecting cables, labeling equipment if required, transporting printers to designated locations, and ensuring all equipment is handled carefully to prevent damage. The role involves following workplace safety guidelines, coordinating with facilities or IT teams as needed, and maintaining an organized work area during equipment moves.

Key responsibilities include serving all customer locations directed by customer project, removing client printers including all local and networked printers from across the enterprise, updating the project tracker for printer removal for IP release of printer, picking up and moving devices to a depot location or designated area for pickup, and starting at main campus moving through building locations with client devices in scope for the customer enterprise.

Required skills include the ability to lift and move office equipment safely, attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures, good teamwork and communication skills, and a basic understanding of office equipment handling.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment throughout the workday. Capable of lifting and moving printers and related hardware within safety guidelines.
