Oneida Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their award-winning, technology-leading healthcare team in Oneida, NY. The role involves managing a diverse caseload including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo, and OB cases. Practice Info Community hospital in the process of rebuilding its anesthesia team 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho, ENT, L&D and other specialties Main OR cases include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo and OB Care team model Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $600K Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100K Benefits Generous paid time off: 17 weeks & rotating Mondays off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm Beeper call with low call in rate Full time Anesthesiologists rotate Mondays off Requirements OB experience is required M.D./D.O.
