About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Global Business Planning to spearhead the development and leadership of the global demand planning, sell-in and sell-through forecasting, and business planning function. This pivotal role is focused on building the planning discipline, tools, and team to support the brand's rapid growth across various channels and regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the global end-to-end demand planning function, leading forecasting processes, and delivering comprehensive sell-through reporting with actionable insights. They will also be tasked with driving measurable forecast-accuracy improvement, owning the international demand plan, and ensuring that the demand plan is executable in the warehouse. The role requires a hands-on leader with exceptional analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to influence executive leadership and drive alignment across multiple functions. Applicants for the VP of Global Business Planning position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in demand planning, business planning, sales planning, or supply chain leadership, with a strong preference for those with a background in beauty or cosmetics. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in global forecasting and demand planning, particularly at the SKU and shade level, and experience in planning across multiple international markets. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in forecasting, inventory planning, and sell-in/sell-through analysis, as well as strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies. A hands-on leadership style, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment are essential. The role also requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with ERP and planning systems, and a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an MBA or advanced degree.
