Financial Consultant - Strategic Partner to R&D, RPM, and PMO (ENT OU)

Medtronic seeks a Financial Consultant to serve as strategic finance partner to the ENT Operating Unit's R&D, RPM, and PMO leadership. The role combines financial planning, portfolio analysis, and investment evaluation to guide innovation strategy and resource allocation decisions across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Partner with R&D, RPM, and PMO leadership on portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and long-range strategy
- Lead financial evaluation of innovation initiatives by assessing revenue, cost, margin, timing, and risk assumptions
- Develop financial models supporting NPV, IRR, development investments, and portfolio impact analyses
- Monitor spending, resource utilization, and investment performance to identify risks and cost efficiencies
- Prepare reporting and presentations translating portfolio performance into actionable business insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 10+ years finance experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years experience
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, portfolio management, or investment decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to develop financial models and investment analyses for business decisions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting R&D, innovation, product development, or related business functions
- Experience with financial and portfolio management tools such as OneStream, Power BI, or Tableau
