Industrial Pipe Welding Specialist — TIG/MIG/Stick Role focus

Execute precision pipe welding and fitting on stainless and carbon steel systems while supporting equipment reliability and proactive maintenance in a facility setting.

Core responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding and fitting for stainless and carbon steel under the direction and supervision of others.
• Interpret work orders, flow sheets, blueprints, vendor specifications, and P&IDs to scope and plan repairs.
• Apply TIG, MIG, and stick processes to achieve high‑quality welds.
• Conduct welding, brazing, and soldering to repair, replace, and install stainless and carbon steel plate and pipe, as well as aluminum, copper, and other metals.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment proficiently.
• Assemble and install process equipment; perform pipe fitting, rigging, and equipment installation tasks.
• Diagnose equipment issues; troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities, including lubrication as needed and directed, to support equipment uptime.
• Enter accurate information into the work order system.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.

Hiring step: hands‑on weld test

All candidates must take the following 6G tests as part of the interview process:

• 2" carbon steel tig root, tig cover
• 6" schedule 40, tig root, stick cover, 7018
• 2" stainless steel, tig root, tig cover
