POSITION TITLE: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
JOB OVERVIEW: This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for product quality and an eagerness
to learn new technologies. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will work directly with developers and
will hold responsibility for testing systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software
program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to
ensure the quality of the products and tests to be developed.
• Lead test planning, including but not limited to creating test plans, test scheduling, test execution,
resource planning, and communication of defects.
• Perform test task estimation, test execution, regression, functional system, and ad hoc testing.
• Develop and maintain test and repository based on specifications.
• Work with development team on web-based applications and triage the issues to find the root cause,
track log, etc.
• Work with web application team to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of
proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
• Ensure proper branch, package, and configuration management of all test objects developed and test
environments used.
• Define and communicate the accurate test plan/test scripts and provide qualitative and
quantitative status/defect reports to the client team in a timely fashion.
• Track and analyze test results and work closely with the developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
• Responsible for ensuring all team members adhere to the standards and procedures for program design
and testing.
• Attend daily scrum meetings, weekly team meetings, and sync meetings to review tasks for weekly QA
team reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as, GIT, Jira, etc.
• 4+ years of experience building and designing test cases.
• Scripting experience is needed Shell, PowerShell
• Experience as test lead, creating clear and comprehensive test plans and project-driven test schedules.
Ability to provide feedback and guidance to matrix team and to ensure timely project completion.
• Experience troubleshooting complex software/hardware configuration problems and tracking source
code.
• Possess strong defect writing skills and the ability to present useful information to the developers about
discovered issues.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, documentation, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business
needs.

• Experience with Linux command line preferred.
• Programming experience with Python and/or C++ preferred.
• Experience with robot -related testing preferred.
