Quick Facts: Location: 700 South Park Street, Madison, WI 53715 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 12/26/2027 Shift: Day shift, 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM (including clinic and inpatient rounding) Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract, possible permanent placement Licenses/Certifications: Wisconsin Medical License, Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS, ACLS, DEA Experience: Minimum 2 years in general/non-invasive cardiology, with inpatient rounding and ECHO/EKG interpretation Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $278.85 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per legal requirements Travel reimbursements (airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient general cardiology services, including rounding and consults Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter and event monitors Perform stress testing (treadmill, nuclear, echo) Manage patients with chest pain, heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and valve disease Support and supervise APP team members Document patient encounters efficiently in EPIC EMR system Ensure high-quality care for adult patients in a level II trauma facility What You Need: Wisconsin medical license, or ability to obtain Board certification in Cardiology (required) Fellowship in General Cardiology; Cardiac Imaging preferred Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology Strong skills in ECHO and EKG interpretation Ability to supervise APPs and work collaboratively in a team setting About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team providing inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in a well-equipped hospital setting.
