THE JOB:

As an Pool Operations Assistant Manager at Mandalay Bay, you'll deliver exceptional guest experiences while leading daily operations. You'll support your team, uphold safety and service standards, and ensure smooth, efficient operations creating memorable stays for every guest.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Support the Recreation Manager with overseeing daily operations, including monitoring and meeting safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness, ambiance, working with supporting departments, and meeting maintenance needs.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, issuing discipline, training, and accountability of all employees in the operation.
• Respond to and assist with incidents/accidents, involving Security for support and completing applicable reporting.
• Ensure departmental compliance with company, state/local, and Health District policies, inventory control, loss prevention, Risk Management, and Security.
• Ensure timely and professional resolution of guest- and employee-related challenges and/or concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training, clearly communicate company policies, objectives, and implementation, and ensure employee satisfaction through recognition, career development, and organizational teamwork to uphold positive morale.
• Maintain efficient staffing and supply levels needed to provide superior service and maximize revenue opportunities, and develop, implement, and maintain Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and growth.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in supervisory and/or resort management.
