Breast Biopsy Technologist

Greenwood Village, CO $45 to $65 per hour

An outpatient imaging center is hiring a full time Breast Biopsy Technologist to support its breast imaging and biopsy program. This role works closely with radiologists to facilitate biopsy procedures using advanced imaging modalities in a dedicated outpatient setting.

Schedule: Full time.

Compensation: $45 to $65 per hour, based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

What You'll Do: This role facilitates all pre-biopsy imaging, equipment setup, and post-biopsy patient care, assisting the radiologist with stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided breast biopsies. The technologist prepares and maintains all charts related to procedures alongside the nurse practitioner and circulating nurse, and stays knowledgeable of ACR accreditation and MQSA requirements throughout daily practice.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (M) Mammography certification
• Biopsy experience
• Knowledge of ACR accreditation and MQSA requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Breast Sonography certification (ARRT or ARDMS breast registry), to be obtained within one year of hire if not already held, with additional compensation available upon completion
• Willingness to complete Nuclear Medicine training provided post-hire
