Acts as the first point of contact in the Human Resources office.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Manages onboarding tasks for new hiresConducts both English and Spanish orientationsAudits employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentialityTracks attendance and disciplinary actionsCompletes all verification of employment forms receivedRuns monthly MVRs for driver filesKeeps DOT drug testing program up to date with current rosterCreates and posts company newsletterPerforms new hire check ins and exit interviewsCreates ID badgesAssists when needed with employee relationsHelps employees access company resources (Paylocity and other platforms)Supports administrative tasks such as filing, distributing mail, etc.Performs other duties as assignedSchedule:Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm or 8am-4pmWe are a family-owned business in food distribution that strives to fill our customers' needs while maintaining excellent relationships with all shippers, associates, and customers. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills. Experience with Paylocity is a plus.Working Conditions: This position is located in an office environment with moderate to low noise levels and is typically sedentary.
