Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney in Burtonsville, MD. The ideal candidate will expand into Immigration litigation, defending clients in Removal Proceedings and participating in multi-state Federal Habeas Corpus litigation.
Duties
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases.
- Engage in immigration litigation, including Removal Proceedings.
- Participate in Federal Habeas Corpus litigation across multiple states.
- Collaborate with a team in a busy trial schedule.
- Assist a vulnerable population with legal processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Civil Litigation.
- Licensed to practice law in Maryland.
- Federal Civil Litigation experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new practice areas.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Maryland Bar License.
