Quality TechnicianDynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a Quality Technician in our Quality Assurance Department on 1st shift. If you are ready to take on a new challenge, we want to meet you. Pay: $48,000-$60,000 yr.; Based on experienceResponsibilitiesSupports the Quality Assurance department with the creation and modification of quality documentation: Documented Information: Create, Control, Storage and Retrieval; inclusive of but not limited to:Work instructions (general quality)Documentation pertaining to APQP/PPAPChange RequestsSupports the Quality Assurance department by knowing and understanding the requirements of its customers; internal and external.Supports the coordination of measuring & testing devices & equipment for calibration.Assists with ordering & monitoring the required lab supplies pertaining to the calibration & verification process (e.g.; measuring & testing devices, replacement components, etc.)Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.Qualifications and ExperienceQualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and have experience with Microsoft Office including Intermediate level using Excel.Preferred candidates should be able to multi-task, work independently and be able to collaborate with a team.Manufacturing experience, a working knowledge of inspection methods, training with IATF, ISO Quality Standards, Core Tools Training (APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC) and bilingual speakers (English and Spanish) all a plus.We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes:Two medical plans to choose from - standard PPO and high deductible HSA planDental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsuranceBasic Short Term Disability Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance provided at no costBasic Life with Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance provided at no cost additional life insurance can be purchased at an additional cost401K with generous employer matchFlexible Spending AccountWellness ProgramSick Days, Vacations and Paid HolidaysDynacast Elgin is an Equal Opportunity Employer
